The post-peak oil, post-housing bust economy is already driving most crazy, and we won't even get to the food riot stage for maybe two more years.

It's just a thought, but is there room for a Skills Share forum here, where members share skills, ideas and how-to's for survival. For example, if one person has experience in keeping poultry, they might prepare a small "how to keep poultry" guide for those of us who don't know how, if someone else knows how to salt fish to preserve it, they might give a small guide on that. Although I'm brand new here, I can see clearly the sense of community and comaraderie among the members, and this is exactly the kind of thing that will be needed if and when TSHTF. While the internet may go down and these connections lost forever, the lessons and skills shared will be passed on to others.

Hi ebyss, there is a downloads page where longer and/or preformatted material of the sort you mention can be accessed…

You can contact Aaron or admin to upload if you don’t have access to a server.
