Nope.. People are rich and control ever more money because they were rich and controlled lots of money..
Mostly they employ clever people who arent rich to do their thinking for them - accountants, investment advisors. The system's rigged that way, increasingly so since the end of the sixties. Wealth is concentrated into ever fewer and richer hands.
Rich remain ever so rich, because they often employ the strategy of hard core diversification*. When you have assets in cash, stocks, commodities, art, real estate, government, and all that scattered around the globe you are:
