Yeah, not many were interested in the PeakSpeak application, so we pretty much just use it for internal communications, (although that can be changed on request).
Chat could be IRC, or just a simple java web chatroom... _________________ "When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." - Stephen F Roberts.

| Any way we can ensure it does not get wrecked by useless chit chat. |

i was never able to enter it when it was up before. ( or at least there was an active link on the site).
i figure a chat room IS the place for chit chat. i would probably drop in to say hi to some of my friends and possibly make some newcomer welcome. if you want to have serious discussions, i think it would be a good idea to have them scheduled and moderate the room while they happen. obviously if a good talk breaks out informally that's fine, but then no bitching about cross-talk. my .02. |

I was going to vote yes, but then I thought of no. Then I say the 'dont care' button and you know me!
I think its a good idea, but I dont really mind how things are. I dont really mind if they change either. |

Spyware may treat the chat service as a pop-up. Ad Aware shut the service down the first time I tried it. _________________ You observed it from the start

Yeah,
It's a JAVA script front end for an IRC chat.
Try connecting with an IRC client or just allow the JAVA Script to run. _________________ "When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." - Stephen F Roberts.

I don't get a place for a password, just a nickname box in the dialog box that comes up when I click on the site link..
Also, I see no way to register my nickname or anything else.

That's how it looked in my Firefox with adblock installed.
In safari it was a ~72x72 pixel portion only. |
