which ones are growing on compost
which ones are growing on horse poo
and which ones are growing on hardwood logs?
Do they only like hardwood or softwood too?
What other materials - bark mulch or sugar cane mulch... do mushrooms like?

We would have a shade place underneath a roof or a shady corner in the garden.

I'd recommend you do some googling, and that you look up Paul Stamets and his company Fungi Perfecti.

Paul is da man when it comes to fungi.

Is it possible to digest cellulose using an artificial rumen and use it to make food for people? Then you don't need to raise goats or cows for food.
