How then, do we move backwards? How does a society, with most of the people having no clue of future events, move from being dependent on a vast and intertwined network of goods and services produced by the indigenous people of whereever, to a local resource and renewable energy based society, and do so in the timeframe available (20-30 years using the most liberal extimates, 10-20 with resonable estimates, 5-10 with worst case scenarios), all the while prices on everything increasing, world politics getting more militaristic, governments continuously reducing civil liberties, shortages of goods on the market and weather patterns resembling bad Hollywood movies?

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is not cooperating with U.S. anti-terror efforts and has "deepened Venezuelan relationships with state sponsors of terrorism Iran and Cuba," the annual report says.
What utterly astounds me is that the United States, which has been and continues to be the largest supporter and exporter of state terrorism in the history of mankind -- even according to their own narrow and self-serving definitions if they were only honest enough to look in the mirror -- has the gall to publish a report like this. What's next, criticizing China for sanctioning executions?
Indeed they are, and so are the french, the britts and even the venezu ....... errr, hugo chavez thru his personalistic project ....... or at least that´s what he thinks of it. Still I don´t know how they have pushed this OBL stunt as far as it has gotten already but, I guess, ignorance ought to play a good role into that.
However, two wrongs will never make it right ...... ¿¿right??

Yeah, right, so why single Chavez, errr, Venezuela out? Seems to me it's all one and the same thing. The only difference is, if Chavez were funding "friendly" terrorists (in Washington's estimation of "friendly"), he wouldn't be on the list.
Gross hypocrisy. _________________ I can has cheezburger?

It is extremely shocking to see the ven government hiring up and sheltering those patrons for such militia," said the director of foreign goods control office, A.J.S. when announcing the decission.
Wash identified the venezuelans, arabic rooted G.A.N. currently political councellor to the ven embassy in Lebanon and F.M.K. owner of two travel agencies down in Caracas, as part of a network that helped get donation transfers to Hezbola and that facilitated the flow of active members from said militia to\from Venezuela.
My question remains up, though. Still Washington does not "realise" they are the MAIN funders of terrorism by transfering such a huge ammount of petrodollars to south america VIA energy supply from a self declared guerrillero?
