at least the train station is 5 min from our house (walking).
Food will become much more expensive (trucking).
And milk is still bottled in one way plastic containers - up up up...

91 unleaded petrol hits $2 a litre

I predicted this at the start of the month, so I got to brag about something for once regarding oil. My mates all think that tech will save the day.

Despite these high prices, it's still business as usual here in Queenstown, where the price is always about 3c per litre more. So make that 207.9 for 95 and 202.9 for 91.

There was a surprisingly high number of people who voted for the push bike option..... wonder how many push bikes are being dusted off today... very few I bet - like loadedbeat just said - it's business as usual.

6c increase yesterday, making it 209.9 and 214.9 for 91 and 95 respectively. Still business as usual here in Queenstown though.
