Did you know that we have e-voting here? I have absolutely no illusions about being able to vote them out.
There are already signs of goverment members having personality disorders from endless brainwashing and whitewashing their lies. Hope nature steps in and cuts them open.

Open protests, maybe...

Future of the EU - What does the EU stand for ?
Everything's Under our control.

I think (hope) not.

The Frogs, Hun, Spics, Dago's & Wops can go to hell.

The EU started as the common market, a good idea, removing barriers to trade, etc. Its mutated ever since towards a single superstate, controlled by an elite of Franco-Germans. It wants complete control over everything & everybody. You should see the stupid directives that come out Brussels.

I could rant on for ever, but whatever the official UK government line is, the average Brit wants out - grand style. Alliance with America ?, Yes thats OK with me. Been to USA several times, Yanks fine by me, if a little "overboard" at times.

Frogs, Very nice country, food, & people sometimes OK, especially in rural areas. Its just an English / French thing, Waterloo & all that - a bit of cross chanel rivalry. When we get our heads together we can do good things, Concorde, Eurotunnel.

Hun - Again nice country, best beer in world, people OK BUT their is an edge to them, something in their psyche, cant put it in words, but if they had the wherewithall they would do it all again.
(yes, so would we - without the gaschambers).

Spics - How ever did they get an Armada together !!

Dago / Wop's - Well they make the most beautiful cars in the world, but they dont start when its raining !!

Well, that's the average Englishmans view of Europe / Europeans.

We English may no longer rule the waves, but as far as the EU is concerned we intend to waive the rules!!!.

Your racist attitude demeans this forum, whether you think you are joking or not. Maybe you can find an "English only" forum to vent your opinions. This forum is international and we come from all backgrounds, these type of "rants' certainly would put me off being a member here. I would hope for your compatriates sake, that your views are not "typical" or "average" and if they are, I suggest you all stay on that angry damp little overcrowded Island.

After Thursdays NO vote by Ireland, the ball is back in the Brussels court.

I find it hard to believe that not long ago both the French & Dutch voted NO, the "treaty" was "re-written", presented, & accepted by the UK & others, WITHOUT referal to the people.

Ireland has had the courage to give the vote, and the result is NO

I fear (and beleive) this will be overturned somehow. TPTB WANT this treaty in, and by hook or by crook they will get it.

If (When) this treaty comes into force, and we have a European President, GOD HELP US ALL.

Look at this, frightening.

By the way, many in the EU would be quite happy if the UK went its own way -- since the UK is much more trouble for Europe than its worth. Europe cares much less about Britain than you imagine.

this topic is addressed to Europeans, it in the European forum..... I am a European so feel that I am perfectly entitled to my opinion here. The "open forum" was the place that I believe that anything goes.

The language that Gasmon was using is not very condusive to dialogue in my opinion....more suitable to a drunken pub chat in "Little Chisledork upon Twatford".

Very much like pub chat indeed.

The world's affairs are indeed discussed in English pubs countrywide. As the night progresses, and the beer flows the talk gets more loud & intense. Thats the English way, like it or not. Its our heritage.

BTW my views are a coalition of such discussions, with schoolteachers, company directors, road workers, the pub landlord, who ever, and LONG may it continue.

Off this board, who with / where do YOU discuss such matters !!
