I tried to explain that to a City person once. I said, you do realise, that the networks are steel, copper and aluminium, and they don't change just because some people sign up for a 'green' tariff? Took them a while to get their head around this.
I know. Call me cynical, but with the official line nowadays that swiching off the telly and buying "organics" the problem of energy and global warming is solved, is difficult to try to explain to people the point. After all if a company says that is green, it may be because the fairies and nice shiny super-technology produces energy from nothing and free of polution, isn't it? _________________ Stocking up on popcorn
