Hoarding is exactly what the government is doing right now by filling the SPR, and frankly it's the best thing that could happen. It drives prices up. High prices encourage demand destruction. They also finance new well development. The hoarded oil gives us a buffer to fall back on once shortages become more prevalent. High prices are what we need in order to adapt to what's coming, and the sooner they happen, the better.

From here on out, all large scale biofuel posts go in the Mother of all Biofuels Debate I & II thread only.

We need to condense it once again for the overall best use of the forum.

News articles on Biofuels may be posted in Current Events, but it may end up in a Biofuels News Media Event Thread if it gets out of hand.

Small scale discussions should be posted in this thread:

Renewable, sustainable, (smallscale) biofuels discussion

Note:

For those who would say otherwise, this thread was locked and the comments removed because my "announcement" is not up for debate.

The debate can still rage elsewhere, but not in this thread.
