Looks like a change was made to the Submit News section. While it looks like it will be easier to use long term, right now I'm getting an error message that says "The html tags you attempted to use are not allowed." Fine and dandy, but when I take out the link it says the same thing. Is it my computer illiteracy, or is there a bug?

This probably means that you tried to submit a story from a news source with a less than perfect HTML make up, for some reason. Tehran Times, I presume? That's at least where I normally run into the same problem, which leads to stories from that paper not getting posted. Don't know why it happens, but indeed it does. Yet, be reassured, stories from 99,9999% of all news outlets can get posted without any such hassle! |

Try the HTML Clean up button in the submit editor

I'm confused. I tried clicking on the URL icon on the bar above, but it claimed I hadn't listed a URL!
So humor this tyro--how does one link an article into a post in this forum? I are confused! |
