NYMEX Crude Oil (Light) ........................121.20 5.64 NYMEX NYH RBOB Gasoline (Globex) ...... 3.0421 .1318

Don’t worry, just a little bump - $70 is just around the corner. Short traders just keep making those margin calls, mortgage the house if you have to. Fortunes await you! PO is for pansies and doomers. At $70 short some more ..... it is going back to $22 .... the world is awash with oil ........ reality has nothing to do with it, its all in those charts!!!!!!!!!!

*bite*

32 years old. BSc (computer science), married, 2x sons. Lost a business in IT (IP telephony + systems integration), now sysadmin to unix servers (HP superdomes, sunfires) and SANs + libraries.

Location Singapore, suburbian nightmare ultra!@#$!@#$^%. Debt free 30/July/2005 (no house/car/edu), looking for relocation to other countries, NZ 1st priority, others pipelined as backup. Learnt PO 16/March/2005, accepted 20/March/2005. Wife accepted 22/June/2005. Desperately accumulating non-IT skillsets and preparing to uproot in prospective community. Unknown use of army scout+marksman skillset from past.

Pessimistic by nature, driving myself with a SHTF date of June/2007. If fail at least I tried, or maybe TS_won't_HTF that fast? Time will tell.

19 year old Engineering Physics student at Queen's University. Major interest in energy technology, especially nuclear. Also enjoy sailing and playing paintball. I like auto racing and cars for their own sake but absolutely hate suburbia and car-dependent culture.

i am a recently married 30 yr old gemini. www.myspace.com/andyg666

passion (other than the future of the human race): i make beats and produce for an NYC-based independent hip-hop crew and entertainment company. played guitar for 16 years. used to play trumpet. play some keys. www.saywordentertainment.com

education: bachelor's in human social awareness (bachelors degree with individual concentration) from UMass Amherst, cum laude, in 1997, certificate in audio engineering from SAE in 2002. planning on returning to school for a Master of Arts in Energy and Environmental Analysis from BU. http://www.bu.edu/cees/grad/eea.html

job: worked in several small companies doing computer-related things most of my life. was an audio engineer in NYC for a couple of years. went broke. currently working in the contract IT field for a huge company in southie, getting out of debt.

faith: born/raised jewish. not practicing. strong faith in god, just not in organized religion (canned god). i believe in the collective conciousness of all living things, god is the unconditional love that exists within this entity.

outlook: undecided. wouldn't be surprised if crash came hard and fast. would much prefer it to be a gradual and peaceful transition away from capitalism and exponential growth. by 2010 the crap will be in the general vicinity of the fan...

B.S. Nuclear Engineering from the University of Arizona. Saw students better than I not get jobs in the stagnant US nuclear industry, so I jumped ship and landed in education. I'm now a science and math teacher at a private day school for students with disabilities, usually emotional and learning disabilities.

I had personally been speculating, calculating, and pondering the US energy situation for a couple of decades. When I stumbled upon Matt's Peak Oil site some weeks or months ago, I was shattered with fear that my coffee table personal musings of many years had been consolidated and made real in front of me. It was frightening because I couldn't dispute it; I'd already been agreeing with myself for a long time.

The girlfriend readily accepted PO, which was a huge relief. We're in it together. She's the senior paralegal at her law firm.

We're 33 and 30 with no children, wondering whether we should have some now or after PO.

Eh....22, high school dropout, Electronics Technician's Apprentice diploma from vocational training, did slightly over 2 years at ITT Tech working on my Computers and Electronics Engineering (AS) where I spent over $30k worth of loans but failed in the end and didn't get a degree (go me). At home I'm mostly a jack of all trades. There isn't much that I don't get into...everything from music to physics and astronomy...I've studied it all...
