One planet, one child

Enviroment

Mother Nature does not argue — and she does not negotiate. Our “home” is heating up and human activity is increasingly exacerbating many other problems. These problems cannot be solved with the same thinking we used when we created them. —Albert Einstein

We must reduce global population. Information provided by World Population Balance states that if couples chose to have only one child, the world’s population could be reduced to 6 billion by the year 2050. Presently, 9 billion are projected. If all people had a basic standard of living, 3 billion people are the projected number for a sustainable world. Presently there are 7.8 billion. This is nothing short of a collective criminal act ushering in our premature demise if maintained.

We must begin serious discussion about placing a carbon tax on children the world over, after one. Couples that choose to have more than one child must realize this choice causes far more damage to the environment and the heating of the planet than any other reason.

All of us must pledge allegiance to the health of the planet we share. Information is at our fingertips. No more excuses or denials. We must ramp up the discussion! Mother Nature does not argue.

I doubt that the countries where it really matters they even have such a thing as a tax return.

The West already has low, below replacement level, birthrates. Nevertheless the same West uses up the most resources and should aim for a renewable energy transition before 2030, not 2050 in order to remain credible and demand reduction of third world birth rates. It can be done.

The solution to pollution is extinction. Gaia has her permafrost and Methane hydrates locked and loaded. She has used them before to scour the Earth clean of pestilence and has them at the ready. The voraciousness of the biped hominids goes unchecked as we hurtle towards the chaos of our self-made bottleneck. All hail our lizard-brained leaders as infinite growth continues on pertinacious and unconstrained.

    Sissyfuss, are you volunteering?

sis after 9/11 the sky cleared up due to grounding of planes. This tells me pollution is a plane problem, not because power plants or whatever. Once Eurotard’s fantasy electric plane is in production we’ll solve the problem in a matter of days.

tard is still confusing his intuition with the accuracy of science and/or the facts.

That kind of thinking leads to people believing evolution doesn’t exist because it would “offend God”, that the sun revolves around the earth because “they can see it”, the earth being flat because “they can see it”, and that AGW is a liberal conspiracy because “the world is a big place and people couldn’t possibly affect the climate” or my favorite: “the climate has changed since before humans existed”.

Grounding all planes would help, to the extent things like more shipping didn’t counteract the benefit. But look at the data. Planes aren’t even CLOSE to the majority of the AGW problem. There is this thing called the internet, and such data can be looked up with this thing called a search engine.

Thinking like that is useless. But thanks for playing.

I only have one child. What is this we B.S.? The collective we was not there to change his diapers and pay the bills. I was on my own. The collective does on the other hand hire women on the dole to produce at maximum output while it imports millions more, all the while insisting that I am now part of the collective and it demands that I must assist them in footing the bill.

outard, if the sky clears up in a couple of days then obviously the radiation is able to reflect baack into space. i don’t score and by your logic i’m out of my basement and scoring with beautiful women left and right.

and obvioulsy shipping didn’t cloud up the sky significantly.

if you say we can’t just ground the planes once a week then you have a point.

A typical article using environmental arguments to convince Westerners, mostly white people to avoid reproducing for the greater global good. True objective here is to promote our ethno-cultural suicide. Average white birth rates across the world are in the 1.5 range, well bellow replacement. World’s population is increasing in Africa, ME, Asia. I doubt that such articles are ever meant to target those populations, nor could they, because many don’t have internet access, or in some cases are outright illiterate.

@Laci. Please see Cloggie’s comment. WE consume all the resources. 1 of us = 20 of them. Family of 4 = family of 80. Virtually everything we consume involves fossil fuels and therefore pollution. It’s 4/23/2018. Have you checked the Arctic ice sheet? http://nsidc.org/arcticseaicenews/

i watched a video last night of a white woman having 8 eggs taken from her in one sitting. i always thought one only can get one per month.
i fear the eurotard going to use this to increase master race and quickly raise a PBBM + syria + iran + iraq + chad + banda aceh + congo army.
i’m warcked with fear but thanksfully no bright flashes at night so that’s passed.

This is very strange. this is not our usual eurotard.

This 1 children policy is not possible :
    – Growth needs more consumption, less childrens means less consumption, aka depression collapse.
    – Young pay for old. In order to that with 1 children per coupe, either we kill old people (Soylent Green?), either young will be slaves of old ones.

We won’t get out from a catastrophic collapse. The game is already over. Just several moves to play, pointless to choose “best ones”.

For most of out 200,000 year existence (maybe 300,000 we shall see) we have had 1-10 million people.
Of course, we had intact ecosystems, and a robust environment.
We now have 7.6+ billion in a collapsing ecosystem -Anyone see the results in this 6th extinction?
(Great apes have never experienced this)

I volunteered, Antifuss in the way of being a non consumer and a non breeder. I acquired a stepdaughter and her 3 beautiful children to occupy my time while the world burns down. It seems an empty gesture at times but some say that a hopeless cause is the only one worth fighting for.
