No, the auctions are today, thus one of the good reasons for a potentail collapse.

How much you want to bet that's the Treasury buying financials ahead of Bush's speech. Your 700B at work.

Amazing, we had a 700 point drop right off the bat, according to the chart we hit 7900

Then we dead cat bounce? looks more like market manipulation to me

No, Jason. The market is waiting to hear what Bush says. Traders are positioning themselves in case there's an annoucement of another huge bailout.

The European stocks are beginning to come back up also. They came back up to -5 to -6% in the back 20 minutes.

The past few days the last hour has been critical for the Dow. Today may be more of the same in that regard, which ever way it decides to move.

Yep, big mystery money into the financials. They are pounding it hard. Got to be the Treasury. They are the only ones with that kind of money.

I think we've got a lot of "day-trading" going on. Gamblers are afoot. They love a market like this. Thrill ride.

Nearly 700 down and over 700 back up in the first hour?! The markets are psychotic.

Someone must be getting some secret good news. This is kind of messed up.

They are going to completely destroy our futures for the few rich now. What are they planning on giving out now.
