pup, I think there might be a new leader. What do you think?

So far, no big trouble has occured this year, i.e, storms in the gom to disrupt oil shipments and offshore drilling operations. I for one, would love to see some tropical action for the rain of course...no hurricanes, but tropical storms only.

Thanks for helping me keep up with this. I was in a hostage situation in Ohio last week....

The lead will bounce around a bit until the high is exceeded.... until then, it'll come down to the "closing price" which has been varying between 65 and 71 for the last few weeks....there is a bit of a herd around 90, and another at maybe 110 or so.

The local weatherman said it's "unusually quiet" in the GOM and the Caribbean. September may be interesting.

The pesky EIA updates their spreadsheet once a week or so, and has not done so since the 6th.

When they update it to reflect the new yearly high, I'll update the standings, unless one of our fellow spreadsheet nerds who has this capability beats me to it.

I can hardly wait.... particulary if it pulls back to 68 or so within the next few days.
