Look, I don't care about some hypothetical trading of "human flesh". In environment of societal collapse it will be worthless anyway, but somehow you are refusing to accept that.

However I believe that peoples must honor their contractual obligations and paying off carelessly taken debt is one of such obligations, you like it or not.

I have no sympathy whatsoever to any man or woman who frivolously taken excessive debt and now squealing like a pig that s/he cannot pay it back. These peoples are causing pending ruin of society, so why should I have any pity for them?

I have paid off timely every single dollar of my debt, so why should I have any compassion whatsoever for greedy morons who frivolously abused credit facility and now are apparently demanding to get their homes and whatever else they own for free?

The trading of human flesh is hardly hypothetical, particularly in Russia and Eastern Europe. The pornography on the internet coming from that neighborhood over the last decade is astounding.

If so, then you have to address your question to Somalians who are doing that.

Your lack of awareness of it does not answer the abstract question I asked you. If you consider it reasonable that debtors be sold into slavery, why would you not consider it reasonable that the children of debtors are sold into slavery as well? I you don;t think they should be sold into slavery, then are you willing to support them when their indebted parents are sold into slavery? How do you resolve the question fo the children of the poor in your paradigm? Inquiring minds want to know

Easy. Their children were not entering contract with creditors so there is no cause for enslaving them.

However they would live in poverty. 70 or 80% of their parents income would go to creditors.

Debt turns into a life sentence, the prison barges fill up and we wind up sending the poor to Georgia and Australia. This has all been done before. It costs more money to enslave them than to allow them to bo bankrupt.
