The hijackers were all Saudi nationals. We're obviously not going to invade Saudi Arabia.

There were no hijackers.

Really SPG - turn off the TV.

Really.

Err, to get back on topic, what other purpose would the furnaces be used for which have been installed on many FEMA camp sites other than crematory? And could the windsocks be used to alert the staff of wind direction when possibly using nerve gas for crowd control?

part of FEMA's mission is to plan for and consider wide scale disaster scenarios. Nuclear, pestilence, supercaldera eruption, etc.

Scenarios which involve massive numbers of refugees and dead/dying people which prompts the need for quaratine and disposal operations.

I'm not saying the emergency response management system could not in theory behave as this "disturbing video" predicts.

However, what we've seen so far of FEMA is typical massive bureaucracy incompetence.

You can laugh all you want, but for that cost in components, it is perfectly possible, provided you modify the car for load reduction. People are doing 40 mile range cars for that same cost that can top 90 mph and do 0-60 mph in 12 seconds, and their chassis/body has no attention paid to efficiency other than how the automakers already built them. Cut the load in half, and provided battery capacity stays the same, you double the range at the same speed, but with lead acid batteries, a lower load will increase capacity due to Peukert's effect.
