Do you think the tax rate puts most people off from working here and is a big reason why people move their careers overseas?
Do you think that our projects are interesting in a global arena?
Is lifestyle actually a factor you think expatriates consider?

the tax rate in Australia is not especially high, if you consider that medicare is (mostly) included and there are lot of benefits for families. Overall, in Australia life is far cheaper than, say, in Europe. Salaries are good as well. At the moment we don't have much to complain.

Nice to hear that pov we are constantly being told our taxes put people off wanting to either stay here or work her in the first place - it feels like we have been 'peaking' with the inability to get people to commit to Aus project

Too many people. Not enough housing. Unsustainable immigration rate. High unemployment.
Apathy about environment is a cultural must if you want to fit in.
