Peak means the highest point. If you had peak money, it means you have the maximum money, you are not poor. A decline takes time.

$20, $30 a Gallon For Gas? You Bet
Consumption; Demand; Prices Oh, believe me, this could happen overnight in the very near future.

Right now, over 50 percent of all crude oil purchased by the Untied States is bought from countries who literally would like to see the U.S. blown off the globe.

Let's run down a little list, and you form your own conclusions.

One out of every two barrels of oil imported to the United States come from the following list of nations:

Wow. Very right wing, paranoid review of world politics. Most of the things attributed to other nations directly applies to the US attitude towards other nations, so the author should look at how the US is bringing this on themselves. You ever notice how peaceful countries don't have a list of other countries looking to "blow them off the map" ? Makes you think.

First: They need our money, so it is unlikely to happen on any large scale.
Second: However, if they did cut off our oil it would (in the long run) be the best thing for us. At least we would be forced to get off the stick and take some action. We won't work on the peak oil problem until it starts to hit our pocket books--hard!

Hmm, I don't like this one, you could say it goes in the direction of hate literature.  If this article made your eyes bug out, take a look at the home page!  Just when I start to think humanity may band together and survive, I'll read something like this.

Nutters.
