you strike me as a kid who knows nothing about history. you also strike me as a kid who hasn't come to grips with the tests of childhood. To wish for a Stalinist Dictatorship is insane. Only someone who doesn't know what happened could say that. and childhood for boys is a test of will. always will be, because they know nothing of current adult neuroses. We should all know how sick it can get.

That is true....we have made few friends throughout history.....but we have made it through. And we were without a country for 2 thousand years. Perhaps it was our being hated so much that allowed us to survive as a distinct group. Perhaps we should even thank you for hating us. There are 2 sides to every coin. Is he a terrorist or a freedom fighter.....well, it depends who you ask. A thieving parasitic jew.....or an industrious businessman, a violent criminal or a victim of society...... I do believe there are certain universal truths, but morality is not one of those.

I guarantee you I know more about history than you could shake a stick at. I have travelled the world....my ideas might be a bit off center, but they are certainly original ones. Stalin killed millions, he led the country from one brutal purge to the next....all the while preventing moral decay, and the weakening of society. When he was done, the Soviet Union was a country strong enough to survive for the next 40 years. Stalin was the energy that the Soviet Union needed. His policies, while causing the starvation of millions, led to the rapid industrialization that directly defeated Nazi Germany. Only a dictator like Stalin could lead us from our current path toward one that doesn't end in total collapse.

Stalin could have easily been defeated if Hitler had enlisted the Eastern Europeans as allies. They would have flocked to the German banner if Hitler hadn't been an imbecil.

Well that is where this whole mess got started back at the fact that by Carter merely questioning the party line put out by AIPAC he gets raked across the coals.

I think Carter does call on the Palestinians to use non-violent protest. I doubt it is in them, the Palestinians right now are given over to way too much violence.
I agree much more with the Ultra Orthodox anti- Zionist who believe that modern Israel is committing a sin. They believe that it is the Messiah that is supposed to lead the Jews back to Israel.
Modern Israel is kind of schizophrenic, on the one hand they are secular then on the other thy chose the land because of religious reasons. Very screw ball logic. They should have taken over New Jersey they would have been better off.

EJ I am right there with you brother in that same place. I think the suffering to come will serve a clear purpose(I hope). When all this stuff comes crashing down it will be much easier to see who is peaceful and who has love and those that do not.

How about South Africa and Zimbabwe as the new Jewish homeland. I'd totally support that, and even forgive a lot of ruthlessness on their part.
