Tragic, isn't it?

Yes, it is tragic. The State of Maine along with a few other states has sued the federal government to get them to impose more energy efficiency on manufacturers of appliances. The Feds invented Energy Star, but won't push it. It takes the states and the people in them to push the fools that are running the show into doing the right thing nowadays. Maybe we'll have to push for better mileage for vehicles too. The cart is leading the horse. Or is it a mule?

I'd have to say when I first got here I was hard rightie, but I have changed to a more Conservative Libretarian. A Ron Paul republican if you must. Civil rights has moved to my primary hot button. The direction this administration has gone post 9-11 is neither conservative nor christian, neither is the spending or lesser goverment which is why we sent Bush to Washington.

To those conservatives lurking I say jump in, the water is fine.
